Lap 265 -- GREEN FLAG: Carl Edwards brings the field to the green.

Lap 263 -- YELLOW FLAG: The caution is back out and the cars are rolling.

Lap 263 -- RED FLAG: The race has been stopped to allow the track to be cleaned up.

Lap 262 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 11: Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a horrible restart spinning his tires forcing Matt Kenseth to the outside and Jeff Gordon to the inside to pass Earnhardt. After both passed Earnhardt, Kenseth and Gordon got together and Gordon slammed into the inside wall. Kenseth was able to straighten his car out and he did not hit anything.

Lap 262 -- GREEN FLAG: Carl Edwards brings the field to the green. for the final five laps.

Lap 261 -- They waved the green flag off to get safety equipment off the track.

Lap 257 -- Kurt Busch had his right front tire blow which put him in the wall. After the crash, Busch appears OK but obviously shaken up.

Lap 256 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 10: Kurt Busch is in the wall in Turns 3 and 4. Kurt Busch would have received the free pass, but it will now go to Juan Montoya.

Lap 253 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. passes Matt Kenseth for second and has 14 laps to make up 2.5 seconds on Carl Edwards.

Lap 250 -- If no caution flies, this should be Carl Edwards' second consecutive win. He has a 1.7-second lead on second-place Matt Kenseth.

Lap 243 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has caught Matt Kenseth and is challenging for second.

Lap 239 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. says he has no grip and Matt Kenseth says he knew he didn't have anything for Carl Edwards.

Lap 238 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards passes teammate Matt Kenseth for the lead and quickly drives away from him.

Lap 236 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth brings the field to the green.

Lap 233 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Dale Jarrett spins and hits the wall in Turn 2. Casey Mears gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 229 -- Carl Edwards took the high line to gain on leader Matt Kenseth and is now on the inside trying to pass him.

Lap 227 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth brings the field to the green.

Lap 225 -- Kyle Busch is the only lead-lap car to pit. They make adjustments and take four tires.

Lap 224 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 8: Brian Vickers and Casey Mears gets together. Neither driver hits the wall and both should remain just one lap down. Elliott Sadler gets the free pass.

Lap 219 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth brings the field to the green.

Lap 218 -- The tire did come from Carl Edwards' pit stop but a cameraman was in the way of the crew catching the tire so a penalty will not be assessed.

Lap 216 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth wins the race off of pit road and retakes the lead.

Lap 215 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes the lead on pit road as all the lead-lap cars hit pit road.
• David Ragan makes an air pressure adjustment
• Carl Edwards takes four tires but loses a tire and could be penalized
• Matt Kenseth with four tires
• Jeff Gordon with four tires
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes four tires and makes no changes

Lap 214 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Debris in Turn 2. Kurt Busch will get the free pass and get back on the lead lap.

Lap 212 -- A debris caution could be coming. There is a piece of debris high in Turn 2. It's currently out of the groove but if it moves, it could become a hindrance.

Lap 211 -- Carl Edwards has a 1.5-second lead on Matt Kenseth.

Lap 205 -- Greg Biffle passes Kevin Harvick for fifth giving Roush Fenway Racing three cars in the top five.

Lap 202 -- Nineteen cars are currently on the lead lap. Kurt Busch is the first car one lap down.

Lap 195 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the lead. Matt Kenseth also passes Earnhardt dropping the No. 88 to third.

Lap 190 -- Carl Edwards passes Kevin Harvick for second. Matt Kenseth also gets around Harvick for third.

Lap 188 -- Jeff Gordon is up to fifth as he and Matt Kenseth are the highest drivers who took four drivers on the last stop.

Lap 183 -- GREEN FLAG: Dale Earnhardt Jr. brings the field to the green.

Lap 177 -- Greg Biffle passes Kyle Busch for fifth.

Lap 171 -- Jeremy Mayfield has a right front tire issue. Mayfield didn't hit the wall and no debris came off the car so the race will stay green.

Lap 167 -- Greg Biffle got loose and fell to the apron losing a bunch of spots.

Lap 166 -- Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth are side-by-side for second. Denny Hamlin and Brian Vickers are ahead of Jeff Gordon trying to stay on the lead lap.

Lap 161 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Patrick Carpentier spins on the back straightaway and hits the wall after Ryan Newman pushed the No. 10 into the wall. Kasey Kahne gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 158 -- Scott Riggs is currently eighth and has stayed in the top 10 all day.

Lap 152 -- Ryan Newman has a little bit of smoke coming out of his No. 12 Dodge. Sam Hornish Jr. is back on the track.

• Greg Biffle makes an air pressure adjustment

• Kyle Busch makes an air pressure and track bar adjustment

Lap 144 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Robby Gordon blew a tire in Turn 2 and smashed into the wall. Travis Kvapil will get the free pass and get back on the lead lap.

Lap 139 -- Greg Biffle passes Jeff Burton for fifth.

Lap 135 -- Matt Kenseth has opened up a 2.2-second lead on second-place Jeff Gordon.

Lap 130 -- Tony Stewart says he is sore but OK following his crash. He says his legs were tingling after the crash but that feeling went away by the time he got to the infield care center.

Lap 122 -- Jimmie Johnson is currently 38th, about seven miles an hour slower than leader Matt Kenseth.

Lap 120 -- Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Kasey Kahne, Brian Vickers and Travis Kvapil all in a pack trying to be the first car one lap down.

Lap 117 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth passes Kyle Busch for the lead. Jeff Gordon also gets by Busch for second.

Lap 114 -- GREEN FLAG: Kyle Busch brings the field to the green.

Lap 111 -- Carl Edwards and Robby Gordon will make a pass-through penalty. Edwards had a tire violation and Gordon pitted too soon.

• Matt Kenseth with an air pressure adjustment and four tires
• Kyle Busch with a chassis adjustment and four tires
• Tony Stewart shaken up in the crash and needs assistance getting to the safety vehicle

Lap 109 -- Jimmie Johnson is on pit road making some adjustments. He is pitting too soon and will start at the tail end of the longest line.

Lap 108 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Tony Stewart hard into the wall in Turn 2 after a tire blows. David Ragan will get the free pass.

Lap 105 -- Kyle Busch has a 3.1-second lead on Matt Kenseth.

Lap 102 -- Carl Edwards gets around Jeff Burton for third.

Lap 98 -- Matt Kenseth passes Jeff Burton for second.

Lap 96 -- Carl Edwards has the fastest car on the track and passes Tony Stewart for fourth.

Lap 94 -- Carl Edwards passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. for fifth. Greg Biffle passes Jeff Gordon for seventh.

Lap 92 -- Kyle Busch has opened up a 1.4-second lead on second-place Jeff Burton.

Lap 88 -- Kasey Kahne has stayed in front of the leaders to remain on the lead lap. There are only 18 cars currently on the lead lap. Denny Hamlin is the first car one lap down.

Lap 86 -- Kyle Busch passes Denny Hamlin putting him back a lap down.

Lap 82 -- Denny Hamlin and Kurt Busch are racing Kyle Busch to stay on the lead lap.

Lap 81 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch passes Jeff Burton and retakes the lead. Tony Stewart is up to fourth.

Lap 78 -- Kyle Busch passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. for second and is closing on Jeff Burton.

Lap 76 -- Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin and Dave Blaney didn't pit and restarted in front of race leader Jeff Burton, getting back on the lead lap.

Lap 75 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Burton brings the field to the green.

Lap 73 -- The green flag has been waved off as a part comes off of Jamie McMurray's No. 26 Ford. McMurray is on pit road and changes all four tires.

Lap 71 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Burton stays out and inherits the lead. David Reutimann and Jamie McMurray will start at the tail end of the longest line. Reutimann pitted too soon and McMurray had too many men over the wall.

Lap 70 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch takes the lead on pit road as only a handful of cars hit pit road.
• Mark Martin with right side tires only
• Kevin Harvick is really loose and they remove some wedge
• Kyle Busch takes right side tires only
• Carl Edwards takes four tires
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. also with a two-tire stop and wins the race off pit road

Lap 68 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Debris in Turn 2. Reed Sorenson gets the free pass and will be back on the lead lap.

Lap 65 -- Carl Edwards has a seven-second lead in front of second-place Kyle Busch. The top five following green-flag stops:

Lap 62 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards is back out front as Robby Gordon and Kyle Petty hit pit road ending this round of green-flag pit stops.

Lap 61 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes his pit stop along with Kasey Kahne and Paul Menard.

Lap 60 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes the lead for the first time today when Matt Kenseth hits pit road. Four tires for Kenseth and a wedge adjustment.

Lap 58 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart pits giving the lead to Matt Kenseth. Stewart with a four-tire stop. David Reutimann and Denny Hamlin also pit. Hamlin says his car is tight and they take four tires.

Lap 57 -- Ryan Newman makes his pit stop. Elliott Sadler caught speeding on pit road and will make a pass-through penalty. Sam Hornish Jr. has taken his No. 77 Dodge to the garage.

Lap 56 -- Jimmie Johnson, Dave Blaney and Martin Truex Jr. make their green-flag stops.

Lap 52 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart is the new leader. Kurt Busch was caught exiting pit road too fast and will make a pass-through penalty.

Lap 51 -- LEAD CHANGE: Mark Martin takes the lead when Scott Riggs pits. Kurt Busch, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch also on pit road. Greg Biffle was caught speeding on pit road and will make a pass-through penalty.

Lap 49 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle hit pit road giving the lead to Scott Riggs. While Edwards and Biffle were on pit road, Sam Hornish Jr. crashed into the wall but left no debris and was able to get pit road.

Lap 48 -- Jeremy Mayfield is on pit road for a scheduled pit stop.

Lap 45 -- Jeff Gordon is down to seventh as Mark Martin passes him. Kyle Busch falls two spots to fifth as Kurt Busch and Scott Riggs pass him.

Lap 42 -- Roush Fenway teammates Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle have opened up a more than three second lead on third-place Kyle Busch.

Lap 40 -- Officials say the No. 24 looks clean -- no smoke.

Lap 39 -- Officials have an eye on Jeff Gordon looking for smoke out of the No. 24 Chevy.

Lap 35 -- Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch both pass Jeff Gordon for third and fourth.

Lap 33 -- Jeff Gordon passes Kyle Busch for third.

Lap 30 -- Carl Edwards has opened up a 1.3-second lead on Greg Biffle, who passed Kyle Busch for second.

Lap 28 -- Greg Biffle has caught Kyle Busch and is looking to pass him for second.

Lap 22 -- Greg Biffle passes Jeff Gordon for third. Kurt Busch is up to fifth.

Lap 21 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards passes Kyle Busch for the lead.

Lap 20 -- Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards are side-by-side for the lead.

Lap 18 -- Mark Martin is fading as he is down to eighth. Jeff Gordon moves up to third.

Lap 16 -- Carl Edwards is challenging Kyle Busch for the lead.

Lap 8 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Jamie McMurray spins coming out of Turn 4 but doesn't hit anything. David Reutimann gets the free pass and will get one of his laps back.

Lap 5 -- As Reutimann was trying to drop to pit road his right-rear tire blew but he didn't leave any debris on the track so the race stays green.

Lap 2 -- David Reutimann hit the wall and has some damage to the rear of his car. NASCAR has black-flagged him.

Lap 1 -- Kyle Busch gets a great start and he leads the first lap.

4:48 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Kyle Busch brings the field to speed as the UAW-Dodge 400 is under way.

4:45 p.m. -- Clint Bowyer and Kasey Kahne will start the race from the rear of the field. Bowyer is in a back-up car after crashing in final practice and Kahne changed his engine.

4:41 p.m. -- The cars are rolling and the drivers are getting ready for 267 laps at the 1.5-mile LVMS track.

4:38 p.m. -- John Byers, co-director UAW-Chrysler National Training Center - UAW gives the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

4:31 p.m. -- Mamma Mia star Carol Linnae Johnson performs the national anthem.

4:30 p.m. -- LVMS chaplain Kenny Farmer delivers the Invocation.

3:30 p.m. -- FOX's coverage of the UAW-Dodge 400 is under way.

2:30 p.m. -- Rain won't be an issue this week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The UAW-Dodge 400 will run under sunny skies with a high of 64 degrees. Currently it's 54 degrees and breezy.
