MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- MarkMartin.com has become the first sponsor to jump on board Tommy Baldwin's Support Small Businesses of America program. The www.MarkMartin.com logo will adorn the C-post of the No. 36 machine Sunday during the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Additionally, NASCAR fans can visit www.tommybaldwinracing.net
and receive Mark Martin's fifth annual fan appreciation T-shirt for $7.50 which is half price for a limited time, only available on the TBR site.
"I just wanted to help a fellow racer," Martin said. "I think this is a great opportunity to get involved and I encourage others to follow my lead, including other drivers."
The 27-year Cup Series veteran will hold his fifth annual Fan Appreciation Day on April 9-10 at Mark Martin Ford Mercury dealership in Batesville, Ark. Martin, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart and championship car owner Rick Hendrick will be on hand during the event to sign autographs and to participate in a Q&A session. Additionally, Sirius Satellite Radio and ESPN's NASCAR Now will do live hits from the event.
"I am very grateful that Mark is helping us jump start our Support Small Businesses of America program," Baldwin said. "I think his support shows how much other people in this sport want us to be successful. I appreciate his help and I hope other businesses follow his lead to make this program successful."
The Support Small Businesses of America program was developed to grant small businesses the opportunity to support Tommy Baldwin Racing for a very nominal fee. They get the chance to run their corporate logo on the racecar and receive two VIP passes for the race. Additionally, they get the opportunity to offer race fans their services or merchandise at a free or reduced rate through the TBR Web site.
