Biography

My broadcast career began in Portland, Ore., where I graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 2002. My first radio gig was at Sports Radio 1080 the Fan in Portland. I produced the award-winning show Sports Saturday (OK, we didn't win any awards but it was darn good) and did 20/20 Sport Updates.

That led me to High Point, North Carolina in 2004 to start up 790 the Ball where I was program director and morning show host. I stayed in the heart of NASCAR for two years, building the station and getting entrenched in the Southern lifestyle.

All of that brings me here, to NASCAR.COM where I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing sport. My dad introduced me to NASCAR at a young age and I look forward to being involved on a daily basis.

Oh yeah, I'll get in some serious trouble if I don't mention the family. Happily married to my wife Marlene since 1998, we have an eight-year-old son Billy, who loves Tony Stewart; and a one-year-old daughter Kailynn who hasn't picked a driver yet.
